Robustness in Analytical Method Validation

What is Robustness in Analytical Method Validation?

One of the Important Parameter is Robustness in Analytical Method Validation which is carried out in order to get accurate, reliable and consistent test results. Robustness is the ability to provide the test results of analytical procedure under variety of conditions , with good Accuracy and precision.

Different condition such as:

  • Different Column Temperature
  • Different flow rate.
  • Different injection volume
  • Detection wavelength.
  • Different pH
  • Different Composition of mobile phase
Now after testing in different condition if the influence of the above parameters on the test results are under the specified tolerance, then we can say that the parameters are within the robustness range.
