What is GC | Gas chromatography?


Gas Chromatography(GC) is a technique which is used for the separation of compounds which are present in the gaseous - phase. Now with the help of this method only volatile organic compounds are separated. This compounds which are to be identified are separated based on the interaction between them and their ability to partition or transfer between the mobile phase and the stationary phase. Now - the partition mainly over here is based on the polarity when performing analysis of GC.
